I agree with you and savourtheflavor. 750k seems about right given both of the ppv's they headlined last year, according to both Bob and ODH, underperformed.

Anything more is a big success. Maybe if they give it a little extra promotion they will reach 1 mil.

Pretty easy it's a big matchup that even casual fans are talking about. Floyd couldn't crack 1 million his last two PPV fights before he fought Pac, and Pac couldn't even crack half a million his last 2 fights before he fought Floyd yet they sell 4.5 million against each other when their last 4 fights combined couldn't draw half that.

Cotto nothing to gain win or lose with this fight and frankly imo doesn't rise to the level of the great battles between the two countries. not even close.

            Cotto v. GGG > Cotto v Canelo

You know damn well Cotto's team would go for the drainage.

I was thinking 500K, 750K max. But I was wayyyy off on Floyd-Pac, so who knows.

this fight should be at cowboys stadium, take place on september mexican holiday. and i have no doubt that they can get close to 100,000 into cowboys stadium.

and we don't need to worry about this fight being a snoozer because neither are cowards who will run around and play tag and headlock all night.

2 Million is a bit unrealistic Oscar, I would love for this fight to be that big but Hell no you're not getting not even if Oscar is making his comeback on the Undercard do you reach 2 Million. Shoot for 500k-700k as others are predicting and anything over those numbers you would have to consider a huge success

But saying 2 Million, you're kinda setting yourself up for failure.
