Well yeah his family would seem like quite an important thing to consider when deciding whether or not he wants to continue professional boxing. Seems pretty logical, old boy.

He doesn't keep mentioning him. You've fantisised that. He gets asked about potential fights and the GGG one is one that keeps coming up as a possibility so he answers. Froch doesn't need to bring up someone who isn't anywhere near him in terms of legacy or career earnings.

What a ***ing laughable statement. You must have only jumped on the GGG bandwagon recently and are new to boxing. GGG and Loeffler have been begging Eddie Hearn and Froch for a payday for years now. Loeffler talks in every single press conference about how he constantly calls Hearn.

Why would Froch need to call anyone out? Why are you such a dumb ****?

Froch always fancied the Golovkin fight, but Hearn pushed him away from it towards DeGale which Froch didn't want and Chavez which fell through. Now he's a year out of the ring and virtually out of the sport.

Barcham, nah, this is her getting a little upset when Froch mentioned he was thinking of fighting GGG >>>

So Golovkin has been trying to fight Froch for years now? Interesting. Even before him selling out Wembley stadium.

Yeah - but really? - 13 months now? Put up or shut up.

He laps up every second of it mate - which is fine if he has the intention of trying to set up the fight. If not he can just tell the interviewer to stop mentioning that name.
For example if someone had the temerity to ask me what I thought about you on a regular basis I think after patiently explaining that you are a complete and utter Froch nuthugger the 1st two times by the 3rd time I'd be telling the questioner to just change the subject. Froch could do the same when GGG's name is mentioned - but nah - he comes out with all this crap about how a GGG fight is one that really motivates him to get out of bed, that it's a fight that really interests him. Since Team GGG basically said "lets do it" Froch has gone quiet leaving Hearn to do the same weekly update.

Dumb no mate - i had you owned in a thread a couple of weeks ago, less you conveniently forget. But I can be c*ntish with you because you're a total nut sucker when it comes to defending Froch. Unlike you I'm not on anybody's train. GGG is a boxer worth following because 20 knockouts in a row is remarkable and fun to watch - but he will get beaten one of these days and I'm keen to see if Froch will be the one to do it - unlike you.

Diggler just makes stuff up as he sees fit and then calls me dumb if I question it. When he gets caught out his m.o is twist the story or deny he ever said anything.

Diggler - show us where Golovkin was trying to fight Froch years ago. How many years ago - 3? 4? 5? Presumably "trying to fight someone" means at the very least calling out another boxer by name. Where's your source?

I'm beginning to wonder if he isn't an alias of Froch's lovely model wife Rachael.

Froch was already a name before he sold out Wembley. The point of the matter is that this Steve M guy is acting as if Froch suddenly called out Golovkin and got his "bluff called".

When anyone whose been following boxing for more than a couple of years knows that not to be the case.

Where did I say I don't want to see the fight? I'm just saying Froch doesn't need the fight. It's Golovkin that's desperate to get paid. The guy is 33 and has no career to speak of whatsoever except knocking out 20 fishermen in a row. "Remarkable".

Tom Loeffler repeatedly begging Eddie Hearn and Carl Froch for the fight. Saying they won't answer his calls and emails. Like I said, you must be a new fan.

So where is your source for Team GGG calling out Froch so many years ago? Didn't happen.

Golovkin isn't desperate to get paid. He might not have lucked out on a huge payday like Froch but his pay days are tending upward and 1.5 million is not too shabby. GGG is not different to any other boxer regarding getting paydays but the difference with him right now is that he still hasn't found his boxing ceiling and moving up a division to fight the 2nd best boxer in that division is called challenging yourself at a professional level.
33 fishermen - come on stop being a d*ck, you can't help yourself. How are Geale and Murray fishermen? Unless ex world champions are fishermen. (and whatever happened to cab drivers?).

Loeffler has been asked about a Froch fight and gives an update. This has not been happening for years - just since Froch mentioned he could get motivated by a GGG fight which was in fact in May of this year.

Me new to boxing? Kind of. After watching Benn, Watson and Eubank beat the crap out of each other I took a long sabbatical from boxing because of all the politics that got worse in the nineties and you have to live your life too. It hasn't gotten any better in all this time which is why I just want to see the fights. If Golovkin starts acting the tart as Froch is doing now you can be sure I will call him on it.

So GGG and his team have never publicly begged for a payday from Froch or tried to make a fight with Froch?

You think Froch called out GGG first and got his bluff called?

Why would Froch need to be calling out anyone? He doesn't need to fight. He has a legacy, he has money. Golovkin has neither

But you can believe what you want, pal. You're obviously not a logical human being.
