I don't care if he does or doesn't. Hopkins doesn't seem to have the minerals either after initially saying he wanted it. I guess he learned the hard way that all white boys aint Kelly Pavlik

I don't think Hopkins is afraid of GGG. He probably just doesn't know what to do right now. He has no fight scheduled, and the last rumors that I remember were about DeGale, which is a more challenging fight stylistically than straight forward, power punching, no head movement Golovkin.Comment

I was mainly just responding to jas's lame attempt at trolling. Froch clearly fears no man, he is also mulling over what to do with his career.I don't think Hopkins is afraid of GGG. Called what bluff? You're acting like Team GGG haven't been the ones begging and pleading to get paid for years.
All Froch has done is respond and say the fight interests him if he fights again. We've known for years GGG's team want that handout so what bluff was called exactly?Comment

Logically he shouldn't need to stay newsworthy - but logic flies out of the window when you are a mouthy prat, with a hugely over-inflated ego. For the same reason he can't help himself mentioning "his lovely model wife Rachel" just about every time he's asked whether he will fight again. This isn't news. And yes, Hearn as a promoter is in the public light promoting other fights and inevitably gets asked all the time about Froch's future.
Why would Froch, a man with a HOF career who earned £9m for his last fight need to "stay newsworthy" by mentioning a fighter with a piss poor resume who's only just cracked a million dollars?
Froch has only ever responded to Team GGG's constant and desperate pleas to give them a a payday. If Froch decides to whistle, they'll come running. Until then, GGG will wait like a "Good Boy"
By the way, although his resume is currently better than GGG's, lets not pretend that it is stellar. If Froch himself would man up and fight GGG both of their resume's would improve but there's only GGG that wants that fight. If he doesn't intend to fight GGG then he should just stop mentioning him.Comment

Why are you such a d*ck Dirk? - you know that it was Froch who first mentioned GGG not the other way round. Loeffler just did his job and followed up on the interest and then Froch came out with his "I'll make a decision in the 1st week of June" - since then a once a week statement by Hearn that Froch hasn't yet made a decision. This isn't news. And yes, Hearn as a promoter is in the public light promoting other fights and inevitably gets asked all the time about Froch's future.

Froch should just come out and state the truth... whenever he decides that he will take the fight, his wife walks in the room naked and says that if he takes that fight he will never touch this body again. Then he goes into a funk and refuses to talk to anyone.
Oh crap... that should have been "his lovely model wife Rachael" shouldn't it? As an apology, here is a picture of the aforementioned lovely wife Rachael.
