Fight should be made, but I don't trust Groves to beat Jack or to be reasonable during negotiations.

Groves has looked like **** since getting knocked cold by Froch. He's been getting hit more, he looks loose in his punching technique which leaves him wide open and he doesn't seem to have the confidence to throw with full power.

DeGale will batter the post-Froch version of Groves who looks like a very faded fighter.

If Groves beats Jack, then we have a big domestic fight on our hands.
I just hope we don't see a Brook-Khan situation, where one of the guys pulls the 'he needs me, i don't need him' stunt.

        Just get the rematch sorted

Ugly Kid will likely pull this. He wanted a 65-35 split for the rematch for a vacant title. Imagine his ego if he finally wins one.

Degale will batter Froch "at this point".

However, right now I really hope they can get Felix Sturm over for his first defense. I really like that fight.

Yeah i could see that happening.
Now you mention it, i remember Groves not so long ago saying something daft about how he 'fights in front of 80'000 while DeGale fights in leisure centers in Bristol'.
His ego would make him think he's the main attraction in this fight..but DeGale is a bigger star than him now.

i would pick the froch who knocked out groves in front of 80,000 fans in wembley stadium to repeat the feat against degale. degale gives away too much, i doubt his boxing brain

Felix Sturm is a shot middleweight who just lost to a guy with like 12 fights. What's the point of that?

                      And Kessler was what exactly?

Check his record and that guy wasn't your usual 12 fight pro. It was for what it's worth the Regular title. Would be like making fun of guys who lose to Lomachenko.

Sturm has more gas in the tank than Mikkel. His last two fights were at SMW and could've gotten the decision for both. Recognizable name, experienced veteran and basically as you put it for Kessler "ticks all the boxes".

"First defense" being the operative words here.
