Look man, fact of the matter is Fonfara is shook to fight him in his real weight class. He's gonna ride off into the sunset with his cheap win over a huge, bloated, over a year lay off Chavez Jr, smh.
Oh, the fight that Chavez was the betting favorite in? Weak pathetic excuses to be sure. Like a comparison to prima donna Ward carries any weight. Fonfara is an authentic lightheavy to came down to 172 only to accommodate Junior. He took him apart and the only reason to fight him again would be for the money. Chavez can find genuine super middles if he has the discipline to make that weight. Fonfara owes him nothing, and the truth is likely that Junior doesn't want anything to do with him anyway.

Jr mops the floor with him at 168!
I hope Junior can mop a floor better then he can fight. Because he may have to depend on that skill someday.

Fair play to Cleverly if he takes this fight. Fonfara is no joke.

Kovalev now Fonfara / Braehmer...Cleverly is making up for lost time.
It's weird looking at his CV. It was rightly criticized when he was champion. That said, he was defending against fighters like Morat 3 years before Hopkins was. He faced Mohammedi, Kovalev's next opponent 5 years ago..and Karpency who faced Dawson 2 years later.
Not saying they were tough defences mind, just found it interesting.

You don't seem to realize how limited Jr is as a fighter. He is flat footed and slow. Only thing he has is power, but he's so out of shape all the time that he can only throw a few at a time. If you're a tough fighter and you can move and you have a decent skill set, you will probably beat Jr. It's not that hard to do.
