Truth is even at 42 De La Hoya would school 95% of the fighters at 154 and 160.

But he wants GGG or Mayweather. If he comes back and fights a top fighter he gets destroyed. Oscar had a great run, despite losing big fights, people always respected him because he fought pretty much everyone, even BHop at 160 (when he was way too small for the weight). It would be telling if Oscar fights GGG, when Cotto and Canelo have excuses/ delay the fight.

Firing Schaefer would be like throwing the Pilot out of a flying 747 jumbo jet at 20,000 feet in flight with no one to land the jet.
