Arum should know better when to keep his mouth closed. Of course what he's saying is true, but you have (supposedly) a business relationship with Golden Boy Promotions - why would you want to go insulting a guy you can work with? This is how these "cold wars" happen in boxing. A guy like Arum can't shut his mouth, and guys like Haymon & Schaeffer can't help but take things personally and act like little children.

Oscar should have a fight on one of those Mark McGrath cruises.

I'm sure Oscar would pop a big number on HBO. But if he tried to headline a PPV it would flop. JMO.

HBO or HBO PPV it would do monster ratings/PPV buys. The guy was the biggest box office draw of his generation. Notice that Arum and the other people who have all commented about whether Oscar should come out of retirement or not, not once have they said anything negative about the money that would be made. Because it will make money that's a guarantee. The question is about Oscar's healthy and Oscar looking bad if he comes back. If he fights again it's the best ratings HBO does all year and the second biggest PPV of the year second only to the Mayweather/Pacquiao circus.

Truth is even at 42 De La Hoya would school 95% of the fighters at 154 and 160.

I'd be willing to bet that Cotto-Canelo does a better PPV buy total than DLH vs anyone, except possibly Floyd. And that fight will never happen.

And what do you have against hot milfy DLH fans? Wtf?!!

The other thing to remember is that middle aged women have/spend all the money.

Oscar might get beat up from the feet up, but I bet it does well financially.

Maybe you should watch his last fight again. It was an embarrassment both to Oscar and to the sport. He never should have fought Pac and he should never fight again. If he was to get in the ring with GGG, he would be regretting it from the very first punch he takes and would probably not answer the bell for the second round. Assuming that he made it through the first round on his feet.
