Texas makes more financial sense, but it will be an even more of a home field advantage for Canelo.

This will scrap the fight. Cotto will only risk fighting Canelo in NYC where he has all the judges on his side and the PR fans. Cotto knows his MW reign is over and he is not beating any top MW's out there so he has to make this in his favor the best he can. He is not beating Canelo, Lee, GGG, Lemieux, Ndam, etc.

I still won't believe it is happening until they are in the ring, since he now trains at the home of BS matchmaking and excuses, Roach/Wild Card. Cotto is all Roach and Top Rank have left cash-cow wise so let's see how this pans out lol. They could fight in PR and it still won't save Cotto from a beating at the hands of Canelo though. Ironic part to me is that Cotto's previous style of moving and boxing would serve him better against Canelo. Now with the pure offense/limited adjustment style of Roach, Canelo will eat him up.

      Canelo by late rds stoppage.

Cotto is with RocNation now. I think Canelo should be open to facing Cotto in NY, as it would make for a great East Coast debut. Cotto/Canelo @Yankee Stadium would be the bomb.

I have a feeling that this fight will not happen soon. Both are acting like divas.

I am a Canelo fan but this is bull****, both are good names, Vegas is where it has to happen to keep it relatively neutral. If this blocks the fight I will be very upset.

War of the Diva's is gearing up .......

Getting to the actual fight may be harder than many expect.

If you really from Brooklyn, you should know it would be at the Barclay's rather than anywhere else. Roc Nation will want the Barclay's.

Canelo's a bigger diva than Cotto and he hasn't done **** in boxing. Did he even win a title at 154? Canelo the one time WW champion calling the shots because... he had that big pay once a long time ago. He also had that big rating, strange how Floyd was in some way, shape or form involved with both.
do you even watch boxing dude? You're a fckng joke.

No. Im sick of Texas, that state is BAD for Boxing. Corruption and incompetence, and I wont even get started on Lawrence Cole. This fight is going to pull in fans regardless of where its staged, but to have it or even consider having in Texas, is only because Canelo knows he'll starts the fight up 2 rounds already.
