This will scrap the fight. Cotto will only risk fighting Canelo in NYC where he has all the judges on his side and the PR fans. Cotto knows his MW reign is over and he is not beating any top MW's out there so he has to make this in his favor the best he can. He is not beating Canelo, Lee, GGG, Lemieux, Ndam, etc.

I still won't believe it is happening until they are in the ring, since he now trains at the home of BS matchmaking and excuses, Roach/Wild Card. No. Im sick of Texas, that state is BAD for Boxing. Corruption and incompetence, and I wont even get started on Lawrence Cole. This fight is going to pull in fans regardless of where its staged, but to have it or even consider having in Texas, is only because Canelo knows he'll starts the fight up 2 rounds already.
