And who knows what's going to happen with the WBC belt? I have a feeling GGG will end up being elevated to WBC and Ring lineal champ without fighting either Canelo or Cotto.

GGG vs Lemieux, a real shoot-out, for the undisputed and lineal MW titles would be something else.

Lemieux has improved a lot since he fought Rubio. He was tighter and looked much fitter against N'Dam. I think GGG would beat him, but if Lemieux caught him flush, no telling what would happen. That's why fights between punchers with genuine power are so exciting.

Edit: In my excitement, I clean forgot about the WBO belt.
That's if hbo wants to waste their money broadcasting him again w/o fighting golovkin. Fighting on fs2 won't raise his profile stateside and not like they can just go to showtime

It is pretty logical really, that is the big fight for these guys if the pay is not above and beyond something he could get otherwise then why bother with it right now.

Lemieux has Montreal and Golovkin has his HBO deal so both will do alright so the reward needs to be good.

Just put GGG/Heiland and Lemieux/Johnson on the same card.

that 154-168 statement shouldnt be used anymore, once it was anyone, now is selective(didnt use the word cherrypick), at 154 only floyd(not even canelo at ppv), and at 168 only ppv fights(which excludes ward and others)... and this is all coming from GGGs team so dont blame me...

Lemieux/N'Dam would've been on HBO and not FS2 if not for some interfering politics. His future fights will be on HBO.
If Lemieux wants a big payday, he will not find a bigger one fighting anyone else. And if he was to fight Johnson, he may well lose and never get another shot to fight GGG for good money. There is a much higher chance of Lemieux losing if he takes one or two fights before GGG than there is of GGG losing if he takes three or four fights before fighting Lemieux.

Right, because title unifications are exactly the same as a marquee matchup in a different weight class.

The level of ******ity around here sometimes is mind boggling.....

Why even try , not to mention that LD will get his highest payday by far while Ward GGG cannot be made due to both of them wanting big money , much more then the fight is worth to the casuals
