Anyone catch the Teddy Atlas radio show this week? He was interviewing Ward and asked him if he wanted to fight DeGale. Ward's reply was not really. Something about he didn't want to have to deal with the same BS that he had to deal with S6. Towards the end of the interview Atlas asked Ward for any names that he wanted to call out, Ward said that's not his style and Atlas promptly said well we know you're not calling out DeGale.

It's already been 4 years since he last fought a live body. Sounds like it might take at least a couple of years more. Incredible that he has elected to Waste his prime years like that. Talk about mismanaging your own career.

Golovkin hasn't fought a live body in his entire decade long pro career and his manager didn't seem to keen on fighting DeGale either

Usually, Ward doesn't fight people capable of putting you down with one punch... Froch is an exception, because ward has the blueprint.

I know who he turned down in the recent past... I meant right now (when Kessler and Froch both retired).

You look so cute and excited when defending Ward by bringing in GGG's name.

Looks like you are completely obsessed by GGG as you mention his name in 90% of you posts.

BTW All of GGG's last 8 opponents were top 10 ranked middles in every rankings. Exactly the same with Hagler and Hopkins untill guys from WW/SWW stepped up. So all GGG needs is 2 elites to step up as the only elite that hagler beat was Hearns and Duran.

i'm fine with either. ward-golovkin and ward-kovalev are both very exciting fights. ideally i'd like to see both, but i think the ward-kovalev fight can probably be made sooner

degale isn't going to fight ward before he's cashed out with the groves rematch

Funny how people think Kovalev would KO Ward. Kovalev couldn't even KO the 50yr old, washed up, less athletic version of Ward.

Maybe you're new to boxing. But the rankings you mentioned are irrelevant. Dead guys have occassionally popped up in the ABC soup rankings.
