I think he does too, but Golovkin is an overall much better fighter(and he is still a terrific puncher) with a great chin, while I think Lemieux's chin is very suspect. If they fight both will land, but I think Golovkin's chin will hold while Lemiuex's won't. I don't think it's fair to judge Lemiuex based on the Rubio fight alone, he has improved since then, but his chin still looks shaky, both Rosado and N'Dam were able to hurt him.

      Raw power is probably close.

I guess you shut that theory down real quick...good post

            Hell yea he does.

            GGG's more accurate though.

Man I hope this fight happens soon.

I want to see GGG's recuperative skills after he gets dropped.

Time for ODLH to stop talking for awhile.
They do not want the fight. That tells us all we need to know

I'm not sure if that's true but he definitely hits with comparable power if not harder. The guy hits like an absolute mofo, I had a headache watching him pound on N'Dam(n). He still lacks in the boxing department so I favour GGG to beat him. But he has serious power and if he hits you in the chin, "brother you are going down"!

I personally think Lemieux shouldn't fight GGG yet, I'd like to see it but Lemieux has already had two career setbacks and you've just become champion so fight a few mandatories and then consider fighting the number 1 guy.
"He shouldn't fight Golovkin because he'd lose, let him milk his title for a few years before he faces GGG"

                That's all I hear...

                  There is none.

You will not see GGG get dropped against Lemieux. His strongest shots are those wild haymakers he throws and he will never land one of those against Golovkin unless GGG wants to see if he can take it. I think it would take a 100% clean shot from Stevenson or Kovalev to knock him off his feet and even then, maybe not.

Agree. I would give Lemieux the edge in power.

I think it seems like Lemieux hits harder because he puts everything into almost every shot. He doesn't set things up and use throw away punches like Golovkin does. Hard to say though but I wouldn't for sure say he definitely does.
