there is nothing about that fight that warrants a rematch.......#48 got dominated 10-2......even one of the judges admitted he gave rounds to #48 that he shouldn't have. he wanted toradol to numb his body so he wouldn't feel floyd's power when hit got hit, not because of some bu11**** injury. once he felt floyd's power he became gun-shy just like the rest.

Trainers in the corner of the winning fighter get overly excited all the time. Especially in big fights. Emmanuel Stewart practically assaulted Lennox Lewis in the corner during the Tyson fight. Sr simply wanted Jr to ditch the cautious approach, and step on the gas against an inferior fighter. And make a bigger statement than he did in the biggest fight in boxing history. Had that been anyone other than Manny Pacquiao and Freddie Roach in the other corner, Sr would have been thrilled with what Floyd was doing.
Floyd Sr called out on his son that Floyd was fighting scared. That's all there is to it. Floyd fought that way for 12 rounds.Comment

But didn't the NSAC confirm that Team Pacquiao requested an anti-inflammatory injection on his shoulder BEFORE the fight? That to me at least says he had some issues going into the ring.
I am not saying Manny beats Floyd without the aggravated shoulder, but there were some close rounds that do make it an interesting enough proposition to contemplate a rematch.
To anyone saying Manny was a "bum" they are simply haters. Manny put up a strong fight against a great boxer, and had Floyd hurt at one point in the fight. By no means was Pacquiao "schooled" in that ring, that's just not true.
Floyd definitely won the fight, but it was not a runaway victory. The biggest problem was not Manny's shoulder; it was the fact that their styles didn't make for an interesting evening of boxing. Would that change with a rematch? Unlikely, but hey you never know, and I think that's what both sides are banking on.
My two cents.

Bob Bennett, executive director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, says the entire situation with Manny Pacquiao's right shoulder injury is "unacceptable."
"It's been stated that the NSAC had been advised of Manny's shoulder injury. That's totally incorrect... We interviewed the physicians representing Manny, and they advised us his health and safety would not be at risk if he fought without the injection."Comment
