So no one get offended, it was just an observation. I bet the old timers on here are thinking "this new chap is only just learning how this site works" haha. I've done it before, I repped Mayweather, Canelo and GGG hard and gone to war over them but I'm white British and I don't have a fighting style that I exclusively like/watch. So I sit back and see some of these ******s bicker just because of the colour of their skin or where they were born and just get confused.

But I'm new on here. The reality is setting in, avoid your Spoon23 and Golovkin's and mix it up with your good, highly respected posters!
Yeah I don't know why people can't appreciate fighters with different styles & backgrounds. If every boxer was the same boxing would be boring as hell.

There is no rhyme or reason to my favorite fighters; Bernard Hopkins, Golovkin, Rigondeaux, Gamboa, Carl Frampton, Nicholas Walters, Pacquiao, Roman Gonzalez, Lomachenko. I just enjoy watching boxing, period. Love the contrasts of different styles, etc.

Between racists and trolls, there's a large number of posters on here who spend their time posting utter nonsense. It doesn't take very long to pick them out and then you just skip over their posts.

Most people are boxing fans first, but there are a lot who are fans of one fighter more than boxing. My favourite fighter list includes Cubans, Brits, a Mexican, an American....it should be about the fighters style more than race and whatnot but hey.

Generally, a lot of people like boxing but pretend that the politics of the sport don't exist when it comes to their favourite fighter(or most hated fighter). The double standards are endless, and that's what usually ends up getting people to bicker.
Why would anyone be a fan of Al?

        im gonna create another forum...BoxingPromoterscene.com

4/5 really good posts since I last looked in, I haven't figured out yet how to multi quote to save posting after myself but basically some good faces come through on this thread speaking knowledge and wisdom so thanks.

I'm definitely building up a who's who of top rated posters and I'll only be looking out for your threads and comments and I'll avoid the ******s and bias racists and nationalists.

50% of this forums members are a serious pleasure to be amongst and the other 50% are time wasters but I'm learning fast.

            Cheers for all your opinions!

Over all it is a good if not the best boxing related forum on the net. The answer to your question is yes there is a divide mostly driven by race, nationality and fighter loyalty. But I don't see a problem with that I do however wish we were more respectful, I read raicist stuff on here some times that is just plain sad. But what is most annoying is when people claim they are boxing fans first but their every post shows otherwise. I've said this a dozen times boxing is a pride driven sport so there is nothing wrong with being nationalistic, that being said being delussional is another monster all together it has nothing to do with being a nationalist.

NSB holds no weight in the real world so who cares. I'm at work killing time on this forum most of the day that is really the only reason I'm hear and also nobody is really discussing boxing much around the internet besides on this forum.

Boxing have a small community and yes it is extremely divided Racially, Religiously, Globally also when it comes to promoters, networks and a bunch of other **** that has nothing to do with who is the better fighter in that ring.

It is laughable to think that just a few years ago Arum was the one claiming how MMA Fans are "RACIST"...well now 2015 I swear when you're on this forum, most of you I don't even think are boxing fans. You're here for 1 or 2 Fighters of the Same Race, Religion, Ethnicity and a bunch of **** that has nothing to do with how good guys are in the ring.

Now you have people claiming people are "Racist Towards GGG" the clowns who claim that truly don't know what Racism Is. Wanting GGG to prove himself is not racist, don't we do that to EVERY FIGHTER? People are still demanding that Mayweather Proves himself are they not? GGG is just what Pacquiao fans are flocking to right now so they can stick around the boxing communities and it is nothing wrong with that but GGG has to prove himself just like EVERYBODY ELSE! The rules shouldn't change for him and we shouldn't go light on him just because he is something new. I seen Steve Kim, Doug Fischer and that Montero guy what ever try to push this "OH Racism Towards GGG" but they never explain in what way? I have never heard anybody bring up GGG ethnicity on this forum but I have seen people "claiming to be GGG fans" talk **** about American Fighters and "Black American Fighters" constantly.

Let me know when GGG is denied a Decision because of his race or is denied from certain part of a Arena because of his Race. Would an American be able to go in his country and become a Star? *** NO! Most of the "HATE" if you want to call it that, for GGG is because his Trainer has a big mouth and he start going around talking about how GGG would destroy this or that guy. Naturally the fanbase of those fans will react to those claims

Respect is mutual, you have to give it to receive it. In Any Sport if disrespect a team then guess what, their team fans will disrespect you back. Same in boxing, if you don't want to acknowledge Mayweather's, Ward's and other fighters accomplishments, good luck trying to get those other fanbase to acknowledge your favorite fighters accomplishments especially when you never do for every other fighter

Unity will never happen in boxing because boxing fans are too ***in ****** to unify on anything. All PRIDE and ZERO BRAINS! The REAL FANS are at the events and if you attend the events you can see that the way people behave at those events is nothing like what is posted on this forum Daily

Some people prefer more action over ring IQ. Some people like guys that go out on their shield although not all boxers can.

I can appreciate both sides of the fence and I acknowledge the little things that make certain boxers great.

I still prefer guys that want to do more than just go out and make sure they do just enough to win enough rounds, and win the fight(s)

I prefer when guys give up some of their strengths due to their ego. Sort of like when SRL went toe to toe with Duran in the first fight. He didn't have to, he wanted to win (yes) but it wasn't just about winning, it meant much more to him to win in a certain fashion, even though he ended up losing a close fight. **** it man, he earned Duran's and everyone in the world who thought he might be "soft" respect that night.

Thats my two pennies. I don't even know of it's on topic lol.

This thread is just about an observation I've made since joining officially in May but also since I've been "looking" in on this part of the forum for over a year. The observation I've made is one I'm sure a lot of you posters on here have not only noticed but been a part of.

The Great 'NSB' Divide that I'm talking about is the apparent, clear and frustrating split between the PRO-PACQUIAO PRO-GOLOVKIN fans and the PRO-MAYWEATHER PRO-WARD fans. Generally (stop me if I'm wrong) the PRO-PAC PRO-GGG fans claim the same bull**** like "hugging" "ducking" "running" when discussion a variety of things like, MayPac, GGG-Ward and Lara, and the latter (PRO-MAY PRO-WARD) claim all of the above is bull**** and then go to war and bicker and fight with the others and it gets really ****** with name calling and nick names for fighters like "Bumlovkin" "G@yweather" and "Pacro!ds".

I can even go as far as say I think their is a racial element to this, with some poster and I do stress not all but some posters who defend Mayweather and Ward every single day are African-American members and they defend and argue other black fighters like Lara and Broner and also seem to attack the white eastern-block fighters like Kovalev, Golovkin, Klitschko (rightly so in my view) and shockingly Lomachencko! The PRO PACQUIAO PRO GOLOVKIN boys also seem to defend other white boxers, some named above, and they also appear to comment on threads about black fighters and "dig them out" with name calling and bickering.

                      What do you all think?
                      Can't we all just = (Spoon23 excluded)

                      Discuss....
You are basically right. However, that divide will exist long after Mayweather and Pacquaio retire. Pacquaio fans have already latched onto Golovkin and have more or less forgotten about Pacquaio. After GGG is exposed, they will latch onto Kovalev or some other fighter they will claim is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Mayweather fans will continue to admire pure, quality boxers with power and continue to argue that these guys are superior to what they consider crude or limited brawlers.

What you may not realize is that the majority of the people who post on this message board never saw Floyd Mayweather fight live at 130 or 135or 140. They think and act as if his career started when he was 31 years old at 147 and he has been fighting the way he fights now all of his career. That is why you see all the hate about Mayweather being boring and powerless. They don't realize that if GGG moved up to 175, he wouldn't be knocking anybody out and probably would lose 50 percent of his fights because of his lack of KO power at that weight and his inability to outbox his opponents.
