I guarantee you'll never see Johnny Nelson employed as a presenter on any TV show again. Nice guy is Johnny, and he was a good boxer in his day, but how did they promote him to jointly present Ringside with proper pro Adam Smith, and sometimes on his own, when he can't string one sentence together without f**king up the words.

Johnny was alright although I'm sure there could be a better ex-fighter to co-host it. At least it wasn't Spencer Fearon.

Why would that be when all boxers were allowed on the show?

Ringside could be great at times and a bit hit 'n' miss at others but I think all true boxing fans will miss it.

Adam Smith is clearly an uphill gardener, a fudge tunneler, if you will (Johnny Nelson certainly will). He and Nelson seem to get literally closer and closer to each other every week. They were almost in each others arms the last time I watch. Disgusting! Yes, Smith The Shirt-lifter needs to go!

The show kinda dragged.

Every time i watched it they must have had about 40 mins of just filler crap visiting amateur gyms etc and then for the last 20 they just promote whatever boxing they was showing that weekend.

Prefer Bunces boxing hour, and i don't even particularly like Bunce, but at least they invite some American and Mexican boxers on for a chat and it actually feels like a boxing show and not a boxing advert.

Smith makes creepy comments like 'laid bare' during his commentary, just watch the callum smith vs sjekloca fight he says that and other weird remarks now and again he's just salivating at the mouth at those boxers lol.
