This isn't exactly breaking news, they announced it on last week's episode. Although it did have such a positive spin put on it (more online content etc etc), it could easily have been missed. I'm really disappointed, it's one of the only programmes I go out of my way to watch each week.

It was a great show and I thoroughly looked forward to it for years, but as of late I could not give a f.ck. The only people who'll miss this are the Matchroom Cult fan boys who bum lick Hearn for retweets praising his cards and Hearniacs in general like Laced Up.

Hopefully that budget is now allocated in to signing deals with other promoters like Frank Warren.

Fighters from other promotional stables were allowed on Ringside.

Matchroom has a new 5 year deal with Sky Sports.

Your salty agenda is clear to see

I guarantee you'll never see Johnny Nelson employed as a presenter on any TV show again. Nice guy is Johnny, and he was a good boxer in his day, but how did they promote him to jointly present Ringside with proper pro Adam Smith, and sometimes on his own, when he can't string one sentence together without f**king up the words.

Johnny was horrendous with his lines at first but he clearly improved over time. He's now hosting the live events on his own without Adam Smith who is one of the creepiest men I've ever seen in my life and really doesn't know anything about boxing.
