Evander continued to clinch multiple times during the fight, causing Tyson not being able to get off correctly on the inside... While Evander kept his distance to get of good punchs and as soon as Tyson would try to tie up Holyfield would clinch. I bring this up because Holyfield was praised with his game plan and yet today someone is arguing 70 clinchs in a 12 round fight which equals 5.833 clinchs a round.. God forbid, grow up, and let it go.
Post up the evidence of the complete fights then.

Big lumbering heavy weights clinch a lot that's a given. But when your light as a welterweight and can run around the ring that's a red flag vagina move. 70 power-hugs in one night lol

If you can't differentiate a heavy weight compared to light boxers. Then you obviously don't know much about boxing.

Enjoy! 70 power hugs in one night. Awesome.
Thats why Pac is the FOTD and best of this era.
You should only be able to clinch if you are hurt, to give you the chance to survive the round, or at the very least if you do clinch it means subservience and you can lose the round for doing it.

naah.. you just can't see clearly, heavy weight's are heavy duh.. hence they are very slow and fight like your watching slowmos. Big difference homey

Welterweight can't use that as an excuse, coz they are suppose to be nimble. Heavy weight's spend energy faster than lighter divisions. They burn energy just by lifting there heavy arms. Know the difference homey.

So they should have different clinch rules for different divisions?
