The lack of boxing history, knowledge of the the sport and the down right ignorance of some fans is ridiculous. All greats have used Clinching, and Movement. Joe Louis didn't move enough, he is critized. Leonard and Robinson clinched defensively to conserve energy and nullify their opponents attack.

Too many people here watch this genrations boxing but have no interest or knowledge of the history of the sport or the athletes who had once competed.

Pac is not known to clinch much, let alone excessively. Its a coincidence you use footage of Pac against Rios, the fight after Pac got Koed against JMM?

If there was a fight Pac clinched it would be after the JMM fight. Pac probably felt vulnerable and was being more cautious than usual. Whilst Floyd clinches every fight so he is feeling vulnerable every fight he has it seems and feels vulnerable all the time.

Rios has all the advantages with reach, so he should be pummeling Pac from a a distance and not give Pac the chance to clinch then.

Floyd has all the advantages against Pac as well. He can box from range, and then when Pac gets in close, Floyd clinches? So why don't Pac to avoid Floyds long range shots, just close in on Floyd like a wrestler and hug Floyd so he cant throw any punches, then what would the fans be paying to see?
Floyd clinches as he knows he cant avoid punches all night by running.

Floyd was absolutely terrified of Maidana in the second fight. 70 hugs/push downs. Wow. And what also gets me is bay less was so quick to break them up. He wasn't letting Maidana work with one hand free. That fight was sickening. It was everything that's wrong with boxing. Made me stop watching boxing for a month or so, honestly.
