Grabbing non stop, especially for no reason, is illegal, but hometown guys get away with it.

Floyd starting doing it after the 1st maidan a fight, broner did it, hatton did it, ward.

It's ridiculus, and it's really hurting the sport.

          Why wasn't Brook penalized?

what are you watching? far more fouls? broner must have commited over 100 fouls. maidana fouled a couple times in that fight as a response to all of mayweather's fouls. maidana was being held and elbowed so he retaliated. if the ref had taken control and penalized floyd that wouldn't have happened.

yes if one guy is fouling nonstop both fighters should be penalized. this makes perfect sense.

                  Well said.

Learn from May 2, and this fight. referees are the ones who sets the tone of a fight. If they keep on allowing clinching. It will turn into a slow energy diffusing exercise of boring uneventful boxing.

Referees have the responsibility to keep the action going, just like how MMA refs bring fighters up when they are in a stale mate when they are on the ground. Referees should know when action is becoming stagnant.

If boxing will go on, they should start limiting clinching and dirty tactics.

Ya but we all know by now, its Floyd so it doesn't have to make sense, Even play field = Whatever he says it is, no mater how bs it is.

It's weird because Brook was hugging more than Broner, in the Porter fight but he was not penalized or warned once.

I think Broner was also putting his gloves in Porters face and pulling his head down a lot, and other stuff that made it look pretty bad.
