    100%

It was actually embarrassing how long it took Weeks to do anything. the clinching wasn't as bad as all the forearms and elbows and leaning on Porter's neck with his forearm. Honestly, there's nothing "slick" about that, those are bar room brawler tactics that warrant hard warnings and points. And yet Broner only had a point taken away when he had the fight basically lost because of everything Porter did and had to do to overcome those tactics.

Maidana threw blatant low blows from Round 1. Towards the end of Round 1 he threw a blatant low blow and Weeks even warned him about that. That was only the beginning.

Maidana even tried to literally KNEE Floyd at one point.

So yes, Maidana committed much more fouls than did Broner, and never got a point deducted.

Pacquiao held Rios more than Mayweather held Pacquiao.

no he didn't. floyd was fouling much more than maidana in that fight. holding and elbows are illegal. maidana's fouls stuck out more but by sheer number it was floyd and broner by far. you are pointing to a couple frustration fouls where broner and floyd cheated as a fight strategy.

Lucky referee Tony Weeks has the balls to penalize him for excessive holding and other dirty techniques. I only wished Kenny Bayless did the same last May 2nd.

The master and the apprentice both perfected the art of how to hug and love an opponent when you are seriously hurt lol

Broner got penalized for intensive hugging, but the mother of all huggers who happens to reside in vegas Floyd mayweather for some odd reason Kenny Bayless didn't. True champ? Nah..

The hugging game lol They look so peaceful together. Sweeet

I've got no respect for boxers who finds this cowardly tactics still considered as boxing. That is why Tony Weeks knew what he had to do and penalized this man. This tactics is what ruins the essence of pugilism. Boxing always will be punching while evading not running, hugging, pushing without punching your way out of a situation.
Mayweather or Ward hug = crafty boxing
            Anyone else = spoiling, huggers.

In the first fight, Floyd didn't clinch much. Now for the second fight, he did in fact clinch much more. But for the first fight, no, there wasn't much clinching. And Maidana fouled far more than Broner and Weeks never penalized him.

Maidana threw his first blatant low blow in Round 1, after getting hurt/buzzed by a left hook from Floyd. Weeks warned him right after doing that. Again, that was only the beginning. You can also see many instances of Weeks counting Maidana's rabbit punches when he patted his own head each time it happened.

              Frustrated fouls? Yeah right.

Porters caveman style is gonna involve a lot of holding. But Broner overdid it, it was a lot of unnecessary holding. Kell brook was smart about the way he clinched. He mixed it with offense.. Broner didnt, he just held.. held and held.. his trainer needs to be fired. How were they not in the least bit prepared for Porters w reckless style?

I find that people's reactions to clinching is proportional to the number of punches that fighter threw. If they look generally offensive and clinch from time to time, people (and the ref) tend not to notice as much of it.

Also, the clinching wasn't the only thing Broner was doing. It looked like he was holding his hand on Porter's face from time to time, plus those out of a break backwards punches were just silly.
