Super risky approach, and I think he should just use his name in the promotion and stop being a matchmaker, play it from the sidelines and just become a trainer, hes mentioned over and over that he wants to be a trainer after his career instead of a promoter, commentator or whatever
Yes, risky approach, but he's managed to help three fighters win belts (Smith, Badou, Bey). And a lot of these guys aren't teens. Spence Jr. is 25, same age as Broner. Smith is 36. Bey is 31. Badou is 31 too. So if Spence Jr. is not ready now, when will he be? Mayweather won his first belt at 21, so he sees things with a different lens. To him, the earlier, the better.

      I wouldn't mind that

^especially if Mayweather were to fight a not so big name like Berto or Mayfield. Floyd himself cited that type of opponent as more of a tune up, and with that the case, that kind of fight isn't worth $70-$80 on PPV.

Mayweather's deal is with Showtime, and Showtime is affiliated with CBS so they could put together a heck of an event

Spence vs Porter (since Thurman is fighting Collazo in July)

possibly Rob Guerrero as well. And I figure Lil Bro would want in as well
