    Quite simple, really.

Khan brings the most money. End of story.

If Khan had a good win over a top opponent in place of his fight with Algieri, we would have a much easier time agreeing that he should be the one to fight Mayweather.

Spence was told to say this so Floyd can fight Khan and retire with a KO win. In return he gets Thurman on the under card.

We all saw that Shawn Porter is on top of his game right now. This makes for an intriguing matchup for Mayweather because Shawn is a real pit bull at any weight from 140-154.a good story line as well. The dads might even get some battle in. Porter deserves the payday. Lesson he learned from Brook fight he"ll approach fighting boxers completely different. I would wan to se this b4 any PAC rematch.

I would much rather see Floyd fight GGG @ 154, but I can't guarantee that the fight would do better than Floyd vs. Khan. It's just sad that Khan didn't step up and beat Brook, just like he didn't step up and beat Alexander before Porter took his belt. It seems Khan is protecting himself with Diaz, Collazo, Alexander, and Algeri, when Floyd is fighting Cotto, Canelo, Maidana, and Pacquiao. Khan really should beat a big named talent at 147, or at least grab a belt @ 147, before he gets a shot, but unfortunately, I feel Floyd is running out of options!
If Khan would of stepped up and beat Brook, he would of been deserving to fight Floyd. The issue is there is no one who has put himself ahead of the pack. Khan is up there with Thurman and Porter. I honestly would give Porter the edge, but I doubt Floyd would give him the shot. Khan will bring in the most money and that's the reason he most likely will land Floyd.

              Spence is right

a lot of people butt hurt in here

              King Khans resume >>Thurman>>>>>>>>>>Brook

Regardless if his best wins came at 140, that doesnt erase his resume or his standing as a boxer

If that's Shawn at the top of his game, I'd hate to see him at his worst. His style is disgusting to look at. The smothered offense, the tackle and grabs, the windmill style punches, its horrible. Honestly I never want to see him fight again. What Devon Alexander and Carlos Molina are to boring boxing, he is to boring pressure fighting.

People have to WANT TO SEE THE FIGHT for PPV. Neither Porter or Thurman has a big enough PPV name to sell a fight with the best pound for pound. Thurman hasn't fought enough big names to earn this fight, neither has Porter...fighting him would be no different than beating canelo again. Khan keeps taking weak fights hoping to land Floyd which is ******, he should have fought Broner at a catch weight and his name would be the buzz of boxing right now as Porter's is.
