When Brandon Rios was at lightweight, he was blowing everyone out, dominating..... and Rios was dominating better opposition than Golovkin is currently fighting. What happened when Rios moved up ?

Suddenly, Abril and Alvarado are tough opposition.

GGG has been beating top 10 contenders for 3-4 yrs at 3-4 fights per yr. Rios had a good run for 3-4 fights.

Anyone that says GGG is ducking is ridiculous. U can't duck a fighter that's outside of your weight class. If ggg moves to 168 and stays there are still doesn't fight Ward, even though he could, 5hat a different story. But let's not forget. Ward has fought 2x in app. 3 yrs. Ward hasn't fought anyone at all much less good competition. When was last time Ward fought a top fighter? Dawson and that was app 3 yrs ago, right?

This isn't about whether Golovkin goes to 154 or not. He has already stated several times that he will do it to fight Mayweather.

This is about Floyd Sr asking for a rehydration clause after the weigh-in. Did they ask for one against Oscar, Cotto or Canelo at 154?

GGG makes 160 very easy.
He would have a leg to stand on if GGG was killing himself to make 147 pounds and killing te opposition to go up to 160 and struggle. But fact is he isn't

Not a fight I'm particularly interested in. If its at 160, GGG is picking on an old, blown up super featherweight fighter who has no business competing at middleweight. If its at a catchweight, Floyd is draining a much bigger fighter and weakening him. There isnt a situation where both fighters come in fully healthy and at 100%.

Floyd should go after guys like thurman, khan, brook, porter, etc. GGG should wait on cotto-canelo, andy lee, lemiuex. Fight guys in their current division.

Good point. If they fight at 157, floyd gets credit. At 154 ggg is drained, no doubt.
floyd should fight 1 of the guys u mentioned, but he seriously mentioned berto and Mayfield. Lmfao. He made so much money in his last fight that he doesn't even care about ppv buys, esp bc showtime has to guarantee 30 mil minimum

True. GGG makes 160 easy. Anyone that says he should move up knows nothing. Why can't he do what hagler and bhop did and defend 20 times against best available opp? I don't feel the need for fighters to have to move up weight classes. If they do fine, but If not, just fight the best in your weight. GGG wants everyone at 160, so what's wrong wit that?

yeah but as soon as you mention Ward a GGG supporter will mention business and discredit Ward's drawing power but then say he should move up and fight Krusher....then give you 100 bs reasons why GGG should not move up to fight Ward then another 50 bs reasons as to why Floyd should leave his comfort zone and throw GGG a bone

Floyd doesn't need this fight but that whole ward bull**** is hypocritical. Ya'll complaining about Floyd having to fight moving up to a division six pounds heavier than the highest he's fought, while bashing another dude for not going up 8 pounds and fighting Ward. Let's not be hypocrites people. Floyd has no business at 160, that's a given.
