Yes you were, this whole time you've been complaining in this thread in which the very subject is Team Golovkin going after Lemieux. For zero reason you pop in and say "Lara!" as if there is something there and Golovkin is ducking the great all powerful Lara, who fights at 154 and is with Haymon. You continue to ignore or pretend there isn't a HBO/Haymon barrier and that Lara, out of all people, is the one who will finally break down the wall. Yes, now that I think of it, surely HBO and Haymon will come together and spare no costs to get this ratings behemoth on HBO. The execs on HBO are no doubt thinking to themselves "if we get Lara onto our network, our subscribers will increase 10 fold!"

My issue as I said is that they pick and choose when they follow through with their "intentions"

You're the one making the excuses but I never hear this from Loeffler. If he's gone to HBO and tried to make the fight and been told "no" then say so.

If they called Lara's people and made an offer which got rejected then say so.

They have being very public in their dealings with other fighters but when it comes to Lara, the fans make the excuses instead of the promoter giving the reasons.

Fight Lara as he is better than both Canelo and Cotto. Lara asked for a four man tournament with Lara/GGG and Canelo/Cotto with the winners meeting to decide the best. GGG never responded but keeps calling for Floyd Mayweather ..... he needs to fight Lara next in my opinion

Guys in this board talk a bunch of trash all day about how great GGG is and he not fought any of the top 5 160lbs in boxing.
Don't get me wrong, I think GGG is very good but he needs to fight the best and stop making excuses.

Oscar was tweeting crap earlier in the year how Lemieux would beat GGG. Don't back out now...

I remember those tweets. GGG still has at least three good years in his prime. If Lemieux won't fight him now, why not now? All these guys have excuses. Cotto says GGG is not enough money and I think of my family first. Oscar De LaHoya says Canelo is not ready yet. Anybody with any kind of common sense can see that they are ducking GGG for no other reason than they don't want to get their butt whipped.

I've never seen GGG beg anyone for a fight. He is Cotto's mandatory defense and Cotto is too chicken to fight him. Canelo is not even a thought other than he might fight Cotto instead of GGG. Mayweather is a fantasy dream fight and nothing more than that.

GGG wants the other MW titles. He wants Lee, Cotto and now Lemieux. As for Lara, when he gets permission from his owner to fight on HBO, he should let everyone know.
