i wanted the khan fight before algieri. i thought maybe khan could get a jump on floyd and win enough early rounds to possibly make it interesting. i thought floyds lack of pop gave khan a chance. then i saw how vicious those right hand leads were in the first couple rounds of the pacman fight along with very crisp check hooks. and then i saw algieri able to time khan and rock him with shots. floyd would get khan's timing down and wobble him. he may even drop khan. he would beat khan much easier than porter. brook is a bigger puncher than floyd and he had to land solid counter shots all night to keep porter at bay. and even with those shots he wasn't keeping porter off until the second half of the fight. floyd's counters may land but porter would just keep walking floyd down and making him uncomfortable. also porter is much harder to hit and time than people think. he changes direction suddenly and its hard to time. its what overwhelmed malignaggi. what makes you possibly think khan has a chance against floyd after seeing the algieri fight?

While I do think that Porter would cut off the ring AMAZINGLY well, he still doesn't have the skill or mindset to beat Floyd yet.

Like that KD really meant anything.
I guess you never saw Thurman's fight with Guerrero.

Khan/Brook/Porter/Thurman, are all still one good win away from landing that fight.
Porter is the closest.
Khan/Brook should have fought in May, the winner would have landed that Mayweather payday.

He is the least deserving of the current welters.

Porter did not look good enough to challenge Floyd, especially after getting dropped in the 12th!
