He's already gotten screwed in his biggest fights and he's complained after the fact that he doesn't know why it keeps happening.

Khan looked average against Algieri which IMO stunts his chance.
I don't see Floyd going up in weight to rematch Cotto (especially THIS Cotto) or GGG.
Thurman didn't look impressive (to me) against Guerrero, who Floyd walked right through. I mean impressive FOR THURMAN. It was a good fight but Thurman should have put Ghost away by round 8.

Nobody knows or cares who Kell Brook is in the US. Except true boxing followers. It's a shame, but it's fact. Had he the flashiness of Hamed, he'd be a superstar by now. He's already got the same voice and facial structure.

Given that, the one fighter I can see with the mindset to get it done is, ironically, the only other active fighter that Floyd has never faced but has also beaten Manny Pacquiao ("no matter how you cut it, slice it or dice it...." -- Floyd Mayweather), and he's beaten Marquez handily.

Tim Bradley's not a brawler. But he takes risks when he needs to. Going against someone like Floyd who won't engage would hopefully prevent Tim from ******* his legs/ankles/calves/whatever, and if Tim stays healthy, I honestly feel his fight style would give Floyd some problems. He's fast and accurate, likely faster than Floyd at this age.

That's the fight I would want to see. It won't ever happen. But I'd love to see it.
Bradley is not faster than Mayweather, no way.

I think there is a reason why that fight has never been seriously mentioned.

If Mayweather selects a welter, then I would prefer Brook over Khan.

Brook has at least attempted to earn that fight, Khan has not.

Thurman isn't ready, but neither is Brook.

I prefer Lara at 154, but it will likely be Cotto at 155 or some shht.

I figured Cotto would be the May opponent before Showtime literally demanded Pac, I'd still like to see Cotto vs at like 155.

So Mayweather can win a lame middleweight strap ?

I'm not interested in that fight, but I can see it happening unfortunately.

Cotto would be better than Khan I suppose.

I would love that, but I've read that Haymon used to manage "Destiny's Child," or Beyoncé directly, and Beyoncé does not like Haymon, so I don't know if Mayweather and Roc Nation will be doing anything together any time soon. Cotto would be an excellent opponent, and out of Cotto, Canelo, and Pacquiao, Cotto deserves the rematch the most!

I don't think Thurman would Floyd the same way he fought Bundu. Thing is, Bundu can hit and despite his age, he was winning some of his matches recently by TKO. He was just a tough guy that people hardly knew about and the fact that he's never lost up until that point also made him a difficult puzzle to solve but nevertheless, Thurman boxed smartly and won that fight clearly. If anything, people should be giving Thurman his props for that.

Hmm interesting, seems like May has an opponent picked already. Khan? Please no!

Not sure how you came to that conclusion ?

It appears to me that there are very few options available, and I get the feeling - from this interview, and others - that all of those options are completely undecided at this stage.

Cotto appears to be the front-runner, IF Mayweather wants to fight him.

                * Cotto is likely the 2nd most dangerous opponent for Mayweather
                * Cotto is the 2nd best payday for Mayweather
                * Cotto holds a middleweight strap, giving Mayweather a cheap title

I want Cotto/Canelo, and would love for Mayweather to fight Lara, but I doubt that I will get my wish anytime soon..... I think that Cotto likely gets the nod unfortunately.

You lost to Kell Brook Shawn, you don't deserve a Mayweather fight. You even got dropped by Broner. Says it all really.

                    I'll take it

I'll take Mayweather vs. just about anybody but Khan. Khan is a joke and doesn't deserve a payday like this. Khan, go fight Danny Garcia again. The dude embarrassed you. I don't care what weight issues separate the both of them, get that fight done first.

Bradley NOW is faster than Mayweather NOW, yes he is. I'm not talking foot speed, I'm talking hand speed. Foot speed I'd put May faster. Reaction I'd give to Bradley. Power I'd give to Floyd.

There IS a reason that fight hasn't happened - Bob Arum. All he cares about is Manny, or "#48".
