Close fight in which Broner was robbed. Disgraceful decision.
lmao I assume this is a troll post because it was in no way close.
EDIT: Well, definitely not close enough to call robbed. 5th and 12th were the only ones that were easy to give him, 2nd and 8th could have went his way too possibly. Four rounds tops.
He was a bit more accurate, landed some clean punches but was barely throwing anything. Not enough from him to win many rounds.
You just don't like Broner so your bias. It was not a domination. Close fight and that 118 - 108 was ridiculous!
Watch the fight! Broner barely thru any punches, much less landed. I have no problem with the wide score. Porter pressed the whole fight, and answered every pot shot Boner landed by two. You cannot award Broner for holding. ( it is illegal). I am not biased when it comes to fighters whom give it their all in the ring. Despite their bad behavior out side the ring. I am a true boxing fan who will judge a fight as it is. Not as one fighters Fan. I am not here to argue. Just to state my opinion. I thought Porter truly won almost all the rounds. Even when Broner did well, he did not do enough to win the rounds. The ref should have deducted even more points than he did. The point is Broner depends on fouling. and getting away with it, and fighting smaller fighters. He ran into a better fighter tonight, and that better fighter actually got credit for his work.
Somebody forget to show him "BIG BRO" in his PRIME! Mayweather at Broner age was destroying everything Arum put in front of him.
American Fighters are trying to act as if Amatures and Olympic Experience is not important. Look at the Cubans and Eastern Europeans and how they're trained compared to the Americans like Broner who are just sloppy and all over the place.
No way. Broner was the A side, got a higher purse, got the weight in his advantage, and has been heavily promoted by Haymon. Remember he was one of the fighters Haymon chose to debut his PBC brand with, not Porter. He even has the stamp of approval from Floyd as the next PPV star. The deck was stacked in his favor he even had a pro broner ref who ignored countless fouls and still lost lmao
Are you serious? Porter basically doubled him up in landed punches despite the blatant holding and running by Broner. If not for the excessive holding he gets dropped or knocked out. If you had a quality ref he would of had 2 or 3 points taken away instead of 1 for holding. This was a text book landslide if you think Broner won you need to stop watching boxing.

I agree for the most part. Tony Weeks is a pretty solid, very experienced ref. I think he was fairly forgiving here but did ultimately take off a point at least.
