Garcia like Broner?? Not even close, Garcia earned his lineal the old fashioned way, by taking out the top guys in his division. While Broner is a 3 weight titlist, hes never fought and established himself as the "best" in those divs. Hes basically a 3 div Paper Chump.

Garcia got it done at 140, but he'll find out quickly these guys at 147 are a different breed. They hit much harder than at '40, which is why Khan-job is so carefully picking his opponents. If Garcia is lucky enough to land a fight with a Thurman or Brook or Porter or Guerrero or Provodnikov or Bradley, or Maidana, he'll get knocked out. Stay tuned.

Porter got the victory, and I was rooting for him, but I wasn't really impressed by his performance. He was reaching in with his punches and rushing in which I actually thought gave Broner a chance of knocking him out.

That's the thing with Broner he's content with just taking an L and hoping that the judge's give him the fight in his favor. Broner needs to let his hands go more that's been the Problem down fall you need to win rounds convincingly which he does not.

If Haymon were to make Porter vs Thurman and Porter continues to rush in and reach in with his punches, he is going to get him self check hooked by Thurman like he did against Broner but Thurman will one time him with his power.

Broner is a clown, his antics before the fight, his cringe-worthy post fight interview...it's always fun watching him lose. The catch-weight saga blew up in his face.

I thought it was easy fight to predict, i didn't expect it to be so easy for Porter though. I had it very wide..i only gave Broner a few rounds.
Broner can't compete with the guys at 147, but is too lazy to make 140. Somethings got to give.

As for Tony Weeks, i thought he was awful. For me, Weeks and Bayless are good refs, but when crunch time comes, they know which side their bread is buttered on.
They know which fighters they can punish more easily than others.
Broner was doing whatever he liked in there and you could see Weeks really didn't want to have to call him out.

Broner lost because missed opportunity after opportunity, he didn't make porter pay at all. Porter was there to get hit. Porter looks god awful......maidana does cleaner work than him. Zero punching technique.
