Broner was only going to have his hand held but so long, even with Weeks refusing to do his job he couldn't muster up the balls to do much of anything. I know the routine though, folks on here will pretend they didn't like Broner tonight, watch him fight two easy tuneups and think the rest of us forgot. Broner is about to start being fed to other Haymon fighters, mark my words.

I'll give Broner credit for being a professional hugger. Probably the only thing he learnt from big bro.

Disgraceful fight by Broner. The holding, the clinching, hell he should have been DQ'd after those behind the back punches. He needs to stay at 140 and below, he's not good enough to outbox guys that can put pressure on him for 12 rounds.

Somebody forget to show him "BIG BRO" in his PRIME! Mayweather at Broner age was destroying everything Arum put in front of him.

American Fighters are trying to act as if Amatures and Olympic Experience is not important. Look at the Cubans and Eastern Europeans and how they're trained compared to the Americans like Broner who are just sloppy and all over the place.

Athleticism alone in boxing doesn't take you far

Even though I had Porter winning, I have to say I'm surprised at how sloppy and hesitant Broner looked during most of the fight. He landed a few clean punches throughout but didn't land nearly enough to win very many rounds. Surprised he didn't feel like he had to throw more often *shrug*. Hopefully he'll pick himself back up and get the guidance he needs to develop his career.

On the other hand, I'm really excited about where Porter is headed. I thought he had some trouble landing cleanly but he did what he needed to do to win.

EDIT: I agree that a move to 140 is probably in Broner's best interest.

Not really. Broner look terrible vs Paulie too. If Paulie literally had ANY punching power that fight would have been one-sided in Paulies favour. He just looks terrible when hes not fighting small bum fighters.

                      I Knew It!!

80% accuracy when making predictions, Broner can't win against tough physical guys. He's got skills but he just doesn't posess the tools to do it.

Gonna collect some sweet money right now

Bring it on Canelo vs Cotto, Canelo will beat the **** out of Cotto, granted. Canelo can't deal with slick boxers but he destroys sluggers or boxer punchers (not named GGG)
