Peer pressure. Rios and Maidana, his 2 teammates got big paydays and he hasn't made it to that point yet.

Mikey Garcia only has himself to blame. Top Rank brought him along nicely and he was getting paid very well to face average fighters. His greed as well as his reluctance to challenge himself put him in this situation. Bob is not to blame this time.

Floyd is the only one who escaped Arum unscathed, the same problem happened with Dela Hoya and when Dela Hoya showed that he wanted to leave Arum Arum made him fight Tito Trinidad so that he can cash out from him and of course he made sure he got robbed, Cotto was thinking about leaving and again Arum made him fight Margarito and took a huge cut to cash out from Cotto and probably knew Margarito had them plaster, he always wants to keep the money in house so when Margarito beats Cotto he becomes the big name that's still with Arum, same happened with Pacquiao in 2012 when his contract was about to run out so Arum got him in there with one of his young up and coming stars and paid Pacquiao only 8 million and made sure Pacquiao gets robbed so that in case he left it won't matter cuz he has the guy that beat him. This is how Arum operates and how he's been operating for years, now wonder why he had problems with all his fighters who understand the business of boxing, Dela Hoya left him and became the highest paid boxer, Mayweather left and became the highest paid athlete in the world, Cotto left and now he just signed a 60 mill dollar deal after people thought his career was over in 2009, Pacquiao's manager should've advised Pacquiao to leave Arum since he's already so popular that he doesn't need Arum, he can promote himself, but Michael KONMAN is not about that.
even Bradley, dude. Since his DRAW with Diego, he takes a huge pay cut bcuz of the structure of his contract. i forget the details nd $$$ amount but what i do remember is that his guarantee would only stay high IF he won, if he won again his guarantee would go up. IF he doesnt win, his guarantee goes down. Bobs a snake and jobs his own fkn fighters. Hopefully he croaks soon, slowly nd violently.

But doe, WHY is Mikey fighting Top Rank doe? Shouldn't he be "loyal" and do whatever Top Rank wants doe?

I mean...Cotto was "disloyal," for getting tired of Top Rank's schemes doe...

            Damn buncha slow learners...

So that is what happened to Mikey, too bad.

Hard to know to what extent Top Rank is to blame, and to what extent Mikey is being unreasonable. Like Ward though, I can't imagine throwing years of your prime career away is the best way to rectify the situation.

Mikey Garcia must be getting foolish advice from Andre Ward. He's unhappy with what he's being paid so he's going to sit out for over a year and make nothing and at the same time kill his market value so that he's guaranteed to make even less when he does return.

This is why I respect Golovkin so much in one sense. When he fought to break free from Universum, he worked to stay active even with no promoter or tv to back him. Setup his own promoter license, secured a smaller sponsor to fund his fights in Panama & Khazakstan, got financed to make offers with N'Dam & Zbik. Even Kessler when he broke free from Palle, he kept fighting but put his purse money in escrow to still pay his old promoter.

Exactly, hes missing out on millions and he would have been where Terance Crawford is right now and be lined up to fight pacquiao had he not sat out. If he didn't like the terms of his contract he shouldn't have signed it in the first place. Its not like top rank was holding him back, top rank has developed every ppv fighter today with the exception of canelo

So, Bob actually had a bit of incentive for Bradley to be robbed.
