I'd definitely pick Lara in this one.

No one is really giving Thurman a shot. Makes this fight that much more intriguing to me, personally.

It's a good fight because they are two of the very best fighters. Lara is about 7 pounds bigger and when two fighters are this good 7 pounds could be the difference. I think Lara is a little too fast, smart and skillful for Thurman and wins a ud by a fairly large amount of points. Maybe 9 rounds to 3.

I don't see why he hasn't earned it. Thurman has beaten and pretty much picked apart fairly easily everyone he's ever fought. I think he definitely deserves a shot at someone like Lara, I would be more concerned about which Lara shows up because he has a handful of sub par performances and career letdowns. I wowouldn't be concerned with One Time, because you know he's gonna bring it.

Keith can't throw without his feet planted and Lara would not give him the opportunity to get off combos like everyone else has. Frustrating fight to watch with Lara easily out pointing to win a decision.

That's simply false, Thurman is as offensive as anyone on the move, how well he does that can be argued but again the bold is plain false.

This thread is a huge eye opener of how much stock you guys put in Lara. A career under achiever. A man who has stuck up the joint in every single one of his big fights, except for P-Will.

He has beaten his opposition fairly easily, however its his opposition that makes me think he hasnt earned it. Guerro being the exception. Fighting tomato cans and jumping into a big fight. I Don't think he can perform at a champion level now or in the furlture. Im not sold on thurman.
