If Joshua takes out Wach inside the distance he becomes an instant contender. Would love to watch this matchup.

The first few rounds could be very dangerous for Joshua. He hasnt fought anyone this big or this good for 3 years since the Olympics. He needs to stay patient estabish his range and work his way into the fight. Wach wont instantly retreat ike most of Joshua's opponents, nor will he be go straight into a defensive shell. Not to mention Wach has a decent wack on him when he occasionally coordinates his body right.

      Perfect step up fight.

surprised most people on the poll here feel joshua stops wach. wach has a chin the size of a damn volkswagon and even wlad couldnt dent it. wlad was also more agressive than usual in that fight. joshua deserves mad praise and would be a major major threat to wlad if he stops that big boy

          British stoppage?

The fight will be in Britain. If Ian John-Lewis is the ref, he won't hesitate to favor the British boxer and wave his arms.

There were time in the Klitschko-Wach fight where some referees would have stopped it, Wach took a horrendous beating in some of the rounds.

Outside of a b.s British stoppage I see Wach going the distance he has a great chin and recuperative abilities if the Wladimir fights anything to go by. Wladimir hit that guy with some serious thunder and he remained upright.

He's also a big guy with a sneaky right hand and good power himself.
Very good step up and one I think will answer a lot of questions about Joshua.

Now this is what I call a fight, we'll see what Joshua is like with a more talented fighter!

Anthony Joshua vs Mariusz Wach - Agreed for Sept. 12th

I think this is a good fight, and actually said I'd like this to happen after the Johnson fight.

What are your thoughts and is AJ ready?

                  Should be a good one.

Wach isn't very good, but he has an iron chin. Will be interesting to see if AJ can hurt him, and if not how his stamina holds up.

I like the way Joshua is taking on bigger, more durable heavyweights than the other up-and-comers have been fighting. Johnson had ever been stopped before. Wach has never even been down, even though Klitschko landed a lot of flush shots. Joshua has only had 13 pro fights and he's already taking on former world heavyweight challengers.

In contrast, Deontay Wilder targeted an out-of-shape former middleweight past age 40, poor old Marlon Hayes, for his 21st pro fight!

Yeah Wach is a serious opponent, cudos to Joshua for stepping up to the plate. Nobody can ever again accuse him of being a can fighter like Wilder after this one and at an early stage of his career also

I have Wach a favourite but this fight will definitely answer questions about Joshua. I think a Joshua KO is a ridiculous opinion personally, dunno how anybody can reach that conclusion but it's certainly gonna be a great fight!!
