People think Joshua will struggle to put away Wach because Wlad couldn't stop or drop Wach are mistaken. Most of what Wlad threw were just simple 1 2 combos. Joshua can actually shorten up his punches and throw wicked combinations at close range, go to the body and throw uppercuts.

He is going to systematically destroy wach in a way that Klitschko never had the skills to do.

wlad threw everything but the kitchen sink and landed most of them in that 8th round and wach survived it. it would be a major feather is joshua's cap if he did what wlad couldnt do

Solid fight. Wach is rugged with a good right hand, but his stamina is poor. Joshua should put on his boxing shoes for this one. But then again, don't bet against the British house stoppage...

Really then why is Wach rated right next to Molina at boxrec? What am I missing. I just watched Wach-Hammer. Wach is big and strong with a good chin. Should be a good test for AJ..

Because Boxrec also has Keith Thurman and Kell Brook at #9 and #10 respectively in the P4P list. It's a points system, its why no one pays attention to it.

Even if that rankings make sense how is a Heavyweight champion with 6 and a half year experience fighting a guy ranked 44th in any way reasonable, when AJ who is a novice, with a year and a half under his belt fighting a guy ranked higher (who is a much better fighter).

Wach is big, strong and unskilled with a great chin, Molina isn't even big and strong, and has a poor chin.

AJ by late stoppage, round 8 I reckon. Wach is experienced, knows how to survive and can punch a bit so AJ will likely stay out of range early. Good tough test for AJ.

Molina is 6-4 240. That's only 7 lbs lighter then Wach. Do you even watch boxing?

Outside of a b.s British stoppage I see Wach going the distance he has a great chin and recuperative abilities if the Wladimir fights anything to go by. Wladimir hit that guy with some serious thunder and he remained upright.

He's also a big guy with a sneaky right hand and good power himself.
Very good step up and one I think will answer a lot of questions about Joshua.

Didn't he get caught using some substance after? Suggesting that maybe he had something for Wlad.
