MONTREAL - Former World Boxing Organization (WBO) 160-pound division champion Hassan N'Dam (31-1, 18 KOs) has promised a world-class performance in tomorrow night's (Saturday, June 20) showdown with David Lemieux (33-2, 31 KOs) for the vacant International Boxing Federation (IBF) middleweight title at the famed Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada.

A 2004 Olympian who represented his native Cameroon, N'Dam is the IBF No. 1-ranked, mandatory contender, who now fights out of France. Lemieux is ranked No. 4 in the world by the IBF.

I think N'dam can outbox Lemieux much like he was doing to Quillin when he wasn't being put on his butt repeatedly. Question is: Can he avoid being put on his behind enough to win the decision?

N'Dam has the better skill set, Lemieux the power, but a bit wide open when he is throwing. I believe if N'Dam can stay on his feet a round or 2 he can catch Lemieux with a counter and his chin(Lemieux) is a bit suspect I'm thinking. N'Dam for the W

People underestimate N'Dam. N'Dam is durable and I don't see him getting knocked out by one punch and he's savvy enough when hurt to stall for time and clinch to clear his head. He handled Curtis very well in a smaller than average ring and even though he got dropped a bunch of times in the beginning and end of the fight, a lot of people forget that after getting dropped 3, 4 times in the beginning N'Dam boxed his way back to win the middle rounds before getting wobbled and even then he managed to make it to the end.
