He had fights that could have gone either way against Ponce and Quintero long before the Maidana fight, he just isn't very good.

I agree. Porter smothers himself too much. Broner will get credited with the cleaner work and will get the decision.

I think you're right. But I'm curious to see how his career plays out. I know he looks up to Floyd and all, but Floyd earned his status the hard way. Put the work in over the years. Adrien seems to be looking for that stardom over night and it doesn't work like that.

And maidana was too much too soon. Plus I think broner took him too lightly. People forget how much toughness he showed in that fight. But a couple more 'maidane' type fights and he's gonna find his career cut short.

I don't get this hype around Broner and I never did. Did I miss any of his fights since Maidana? I saw 3 of them there were three of them all against mediocre guys and he didn't shine much not even once... You can tell that his John Molina fight was impressive, that was the most close of being impressive but I think that was more because Molina was a shell. We will see.

How is it putting too much stock In maidana fight? Best fighter he fought and at welterweight got his ass kicked you should put stock in it do you want to count bums instead. Should put stock in porter fight ex champ and following Floyd Canelo weakened porter to come in at lower weight

Someone can tell me why is Broner so talented? Trust me this is no offense at all I just really want to understand it because so far I don't understand. I see a guy who markets himself pretty good out of the ring but in the ring he just tries to mimic Floyd but he is nowhere as good as Floyd. His footwork objectively can't be called anything more than mediocre or maybe I could say that it's bad and his defense isn't as tight as the thought.
His best wins are Demarco és Malignaggi, none of them even an elite level guy, firs of them was in a dead empty weight class and against the second one (Malignaggi) he struggled and got all he could handle and at then end of the day he escaped with an SD win which was not impressive at all. And of course after that he got absolutely bullied and got beat his ass from Maidana.

So.... Why do you think that this guy is so talented? Do you really see something special in him or you just got blinded by the flash and the hype?
Again it's no offense, I would be happy if somebody could argue it to me.

You honestly can't acknowledge the natural talent that Adrien Broner has? The speed and athleticism? It's clear as day.

Broner no longer uses his legs at all so that makes him above average at best . he's one dimensional and complacent in the ring and his one dimension is being a bully . this unfortunately equates to a lopsided loss for Broner as he WONT be able to bully Porter .

Honestly other than decent hand speed he's not that athletic, doesn't have great reflexes and is very flat footed, and overall seems pretty stiff.
