Comments Thread For: Bradley Picks Broner To Win: He's An Unbelievable Talent

Former two division champion Timothy Bradley gave his thoughts on the upcoming fight this Saturday night, and selects Adrien Broner (30-1, 22 KOs) to overcome the tough task of Shawn Porter (25-1-1, 16 KOs) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Bradley, who is preparing for his own welterweight fight next Saturday against Jessie Vargas, says Broner - when he's focused and fully prepared - is very difficult to defeat in the ring.

Another advantage for Broner is the contract weight of 144-pounds, which requires Porter to shed down even further for the fight.

Sad to see that Bradley has taken too many punches.

He is very talented. No denying that. Lamar Odom was also very talented. There has to be a burning desire inside to be great. The verdict is still up on that, for Broner.

Why, just because he's picking Broner? Lol

This is a 50/50 fight. I'm excited for it.

Imo, it was more so a 50-50 fight at true WW. The 144 CW has changed this to a 60-40, 65-35 fight in favor of Broner.

I hear what you're saying and you may be right, but I feel like Broner is a big boy himself and appears to put on quite a bit of weight between fights, so I wonder how much of an advantage it really is. But yeah, Porter is a very dense welter, and I believe breadman said he was fighting at 165 as an amateur so it might very well be an issue.

A cw for this fight was pointless

You people put way too much stock in the Maidana fight. Broner is a very good fighter. He's just not great. And combine that with being a star, is more important to him than maximizing his potential as a fighter. Its very doubtful that he'll ever fulfill his potential.

No, it isn't because he is picking Broner. He can pick whoever he wants, but him saying Broner is an unbelievable talent just seems bizarre .

and what fights do you put stock in? the malinaggi fight where he looked terrible? the taylor fight where he looked terrible? the ponce fight where he looked terrible? let me guess the molina fight where he looked great because molina wasn't throwing any punches. that's the fight that matters.
