That's just the same old quote that Sulaiman has made for the past month or more. There is no new information there at all, no indication that GGG has agreed to any step aside deal or that either Canelo or Cotto have signed the agreement to fight Golovkin if they are the winner. In other words, this means nothing at all. Until there is a direct press release from the WBC and from Golovkin regarding GGG permitting this fight to go on for the title, there's no point in yet another thread on the subject.

You said the same when I made the Geale thread. Just be happy we are getting this fight outta the way so we can get the WBC title fight for GGG (Yes even I want GGG to fight for the title)

What title fight for GGG? The Canelo - Cotto fight will not be for any MW title because Golovkin will not step aside and Cotto will be stripped. GGG will be automatically be promoted from interim to full champion on the spot. Then Cotto can fight Canelo for the JrMW title which is the title they should be fighting for.

If Golovkin has to wait for them to fight and for the winner to vacate afterwards because he has no balls, it will take until the end of 2016 before GGG has the title he deserves.

Sure. Cotto moved up to his 4th weight class... but he has no balls. Geale had 20 lbs on him... he has no balls. He went 11 rounds with plastercheater swallowing his own blood... he has no balls. Fought everybody there was to fight throughout his career... he has no balls.

Yet GGG can't move up ONE weight class unless its Chavez jr or Froch at a ppv.

He wants to unify belts doe.

He's already over 30 years old with over 30 pro fights.

Whats the good news? Mauricio is starting to sound like don king. a whole lots of words to say nothing. This fight was on verge to be finalized a few times. All it takes is mayweather to throw money at cotto and this fight disappears. Besides cotto embarrasses canelo. no need to get all riled up for the expected.

Aren't Ducklovkin fans sad? They will crucify great fighters like Cotto who has fought Margarito, Pacquiao, Mayweather, Martinez. A first ballot HOFer. They try to degrade the legends of our sport for some coward that's afraid to fight the best the sport has to offer. Ducklovkin wishes he has an ounce of the guts Cotto has.

                      Ducklovkin is a coward.
