I think the truth was a bit too hard for him to handle.

Only title he can fight for is ibf other two haymon holders and HBO still has Cold War going on so Walters only big fight for him unless he moves up

He was also coming off a long lay off and an illness. He's supposedly struggled hard with the weight for awhile, but having a recent training camp, maybe he's able to still make 126 for this fight.

Well done Bob Arum, "let it marinate" turned into "let it dissipate" and the fans lose out. Fight should've been done.

Businesswise I think if Lomachenko doesn't wanna fight Walters now he should first unify the belts then move up and fight Walters later at 130, but from what this guy said in this interview it looks like they have no interest in fighting Walters at any weight cuz he'll always be bigger than Lomachenko.

Just imagine Floyd saying I'm not gonna fight Dela Hoya or Canelo cuz they're bigger than me, I bet u not Lomachenko will get away with this like it never happened, just like Kovalev got away with his racist pic, everything was alright, cuz it was all white.
If Walters kept his belt, I am sure the interest would still be there from his camp but I assume they were have a rehydration clause. But a ppv fight? It's definitely too early, would not sell unless it was a co feature to a bigger fight. As far as the race theory you have. I know it happens in the sport but in this particular situation. Nahh.

So it's normal for a fighter to balantly say he's not interested in fighting the other best guy in his division cuz he's bigger than him? Is this not "ducking"?, if Walters would've said the same, wouldn't every mofo and their momma come here and call him a coward? PLEASE!
