Smart move by Loma's team for once. They really dropped the ball, giving Salido that weight advantage. If Walters can make weight and regain his title, then the fight makes sense.

Yep. Been saying it from day one. Walters didn't want to fight Loma right away, wanted it to become a "bigger" fight, and I suspect Arum thought the same.

You may be right (because I never noticed that you post trash here)...

... I like Walters... And I think that, right now, he would beat Loma at 126... Loma has little pro experience and his style is too 'narcissistic' for my taste.

Not saying that people hate on Walters cuz he's black, actually I don't think anybody hates Walters cuz he's an exciting fighter, but I think the majority (meaning white people), like Lomachenko even more cuz he looks like them, which is normal, black people tend to take the side of black fighters and mexicans support mexican fighters, the majority of the population is white and that's why Lomachenko won't suffer any backlash for what was said in this interview, which btw I don't think is SO bad, but I'm sure that if Walters would've said the same he would've gotten crucified for it by the majority, which is how things have been for more than 100 years.

The unification was a big reason for this fight happening. If Walters can make weight and reestablish himself then it's a possibility.

I'm 'white', but I like Walters more than Loma... Now what?

Yeah, it's smart, since it's an actual weight class that Walters can't make - not some made up CW. Clear difference that only a Philly fool couldn't see.
