    Does Wladimir Klitschko entertain you?

So this guy is coming towards the end of his seemingly never ending career. He's one of the hardest punchers ever, one of the longest reigning champs (if you count all belts). High KO ratio, nice guy. Getting ready to face the Gypsy Giant, Tyson Fury.

Also he's the prestigious champion of the official CompuClinch union.

    Here's a few highlights.

He has an entertainment factor and skill level comparable to John Ruiz. Wlad however blows Ruiz off the chart in the compu clinch count.

If a guy like Ruiz had Wlads size , height , strength and power he probably never would have been the clincher he was.
But Wlad has those assets and he's a worse clincher in a weaker era against weaker opposition.

    Lets remind ourselves yeah..

Just watch the first round. Look at the state of him all over a shot to pieces CW nobody.

In my book , Wlad is a far greater fraud than Ruiz was as Wlad held the championship for so long through illegal tactics - whereas Ruiz was just a title holder.

If Wlad wasn't allowed to pull any of his illegal holds and grapples like Ruiz v Roy Jones - there's no doubt in my mind he would have lost to Peter twice , Povetkin . Possibly Thompson and possibly Haye.

We all saw how easily he got dispatched by Brewster when his holding was taken away.

      Yes & No!!!

Wlad is never in any danger of losing, especially with the current crop of so-called heavies. That stated, all Wlad's fights become just a question of how long before his opponent gets KTFO. That's not entertaining in and of itself, but I blame his competition for not putting up much of a fight.

Hopefully Fury will change the dynamic .....

I enjoyed Klitschko-Pulev, but most of his fights are not entertaining.

Yes, big fan of Klitschko. He may use a lot of clinching in his fights but that's part of his style/defense technique. He chooses to fight how he wants to fight, not in the opinion of others.

His last fight agaisnt Jennings was good, he boxed him to UD. I prefer watching the art of boxing than K.O Artists, sure K.O artists are exciting to watch but if the K.O comes, it comes.

I didn't actually think he was as bad as he used to get stick for and enjoyed most of his fights but its like he just loves giving critics more ammo, his last few fights have been unbearable.

I think if he fights Fury next that will be exciting though as he tends to be more aggressive against bigger guys.

I think Fury has been massively boring and safety first himself lately but I hope I am correct in thinking that will be a more exciting fight.

yes cheating is part of his style and he chooses to cheat. some people have the opinion that cheating is bad and others don't.

he clinched him to UD. he clinched at least 100 times. where was the boxing?

If Klitschko hurled a sword into the audience and it sliced off Don King's fro, I would be entertained.
