He's in the top 5 of like all the sanctioning bodies.

If he actually wins a title...then maybe there's interest in Ramirez-Golovkin.

    Not much right now.

Ramirez is alright, I was pretty shocked to see him so highly ranked though. I'm not convinced by his defensive speed/reflex...the fight against Edwards is a good step for him. Edwards doesn't have good volume, but he has a right hand that can land on a southpaw. He had Dirrell out on his feet in the 12th round of his fight, got Korobov's attention too. Want to see if Ramirez can avoid it

pretty sure Arum just likes his chances seeing that he's 168 and how many shots Monroe was landing to GGG's body

Wow what a deep division. SMW is overflowing with talent! lol

But he does go to the body consistently.
GGG vs a slow, arm punching, volume puncher with a so-so chin and defense but has size advantage would be entertaining for some time..

#9 with TRB below Sakio Bika, which is probably where he belongs.

                The WBO, perhaps.

There's been talk of the Abraham-Steiglitz winner.

If Ramirez can beat Edwards and then win the WBO title withint the next year, that would at least give them a piece at 168.

But I think Ramirez needs careful match-making. He's limited.

Wow, wow... The 2nd video was a Peter Nelson bash-fest. Very interesting. Some real friction with TR/HBO being exposed here.

Bob goes off on Nelson for forcing them to make the Rameriz/Vlasov fight. Says the fight made Rameriz look bad and he's mad about it.

Then he said Nelson is trying to match up Crawford with certain guys and Bob says they'll take him else where if they don't like the matches. I think Bruce Trampler & Carl Morretti are outstanding match makers, best in the sport, but HBO expects some accountability as well. I like that Nelson is hands on and intelligent in regards to the sport - Kerry Davis was the complete opposite, a little pant-sniffer.

As for Rameriz/Golvokin, I love the fight. But Bob is just using GGG's name to hype Rameriz. Let Rameriz get built up, Golovkin destroys him right now. Rameriz will have a tough fight vs Abraham/Steiglitz in November. Rameriz has had numerous training camps in Golovkin's gym at Big Bear, is a huge fan of Golovkin, yet they've never sparred...

None of them have any idea how to read or listen properly however as GGG and his camp have made it perfectly clear from the start that GGG will not change divisions for anything other than a PPV fight. So if Arum is willing to have Ramirez drop down to 160, I'm sure that GGG will be happy to fight him. Other than that, Arum can stop dreaming.
