BoxingScene.com has confirmed with multiple sources that Roberto Garcia has withdrawn from his scheduled fight on Saturday night with unbeaten welterweight prospect Errol Spence Jr. The fight was scheduled to be the Premier Boxing Champions televised co-feature on NBC from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

The card is headlined by a twelve round fight between Adrien Broner and Shawn Porter.

From what BoxingScene was told, Garcia was struggling to make the welterweight limit. But a source close to Garcia said the boxer is unable to go forward due to "undisclosed personal reasons and claim the situation has nothing to do with weight.
