    Floyd should win at 154.
Are you trying to "lure" Floyd into this? Don't waste your time.

    • This would be an awesome fight if GGG can get down to 154. GGG is the only fighter that will beat mayweather. Although he will chasing him the whole fight, he will eventually hit him hard and mayweather will crumble. Mayweather doesn't like being hit and when he gets hit by a bomb he's gameplan will go out the window. Finally we would see floyd go to he's shell.
But let's be realistic. Mayweather isn't serious. He is spooked by GGG.

That is just the dumbest post iv seen in while on this site, why in the name of god would he fight ggg at 160 when he walks around at 150, if he fights at 154 people would just ***** on it and say ggg was weight drained, i swear some people want to see mayweather fight for the heavvyweight title before he retires......#whoarethesepeople

            • Floyd has done this throughout his career...spoken about the top threat at the time...but he has never taken the fight:

              Miguel Cotto (at 140)
Shane Mosley (fought Mosley when Mosley was 39 coming off a 15-month layoff)
Winky Wright (talked about moving up to 154)
Antonio Margarito (fought Baldomir and Zab for less money instead)
              Sergio Martinez
Manny Pacquiao (fought him 5 years later)
              AND NOW: Triple G

Mayweather doesn't walk around at 150...that's a lie...same lie that Mayweather can make 140...but couldn't even make 144 vs. Marquez...

All the ATGs moved up to 160...

And the number 1 reason Floyd should do it: Floyd said he'd go up to 160 to fight Trinidad years ago if Tito came back... So no reason he can't fight Triple G at 155-160...unless he was just cherry-picking Tito at 160..ATGs don't cherry-pick though..

                • This is so ****ing ******ed. Either Golovkin slaughters a welterweight or Mayweather potshots a drained middleweight. That's the fight. That's what will happen, one way or the other.

                  • mayweather must respect golovkin to be giving him so much media attention

                    • GGG may make 154, but I'm afraid this will be at the expense of his further career. This is too much of a muscle to lose at his age. Look what had it done to Roy Jones and many others. The only successful story of going down in weight was BHop against DLH. But I guess the money in this case will be such, that he'll go for it anyway (sadly). I personally would prefer that he'd go the way of Hagler. Just camp at his optimal weight and obliterate everybody. Eventually he will collect all belts and there will be no way around him...Going up in weight is also possible, but it may be more wise just fight in the higher weight class without actually bulking up to the limit of next weight-class - the same thing Floyd does. This way he'll still have the options for MW.
