The 2 rounds is debatable. Some guys here giving him one or two more. A lot of bias against Vargas coming into this fight. Vargas did well at the beginning. Faded in the middle and picked it up a little in the end. The way people trash Vargas here(who's only decent at best), If anything, Bradley should've looked better considering who he's supposed to be and who he was fighting.
Also, the way you talk about Vargas Bradley should get zero credit for this win. All the **** about Vargas actually makes this win look worse.
    "Yeah! Great win! Vargas sucks!"

I think Bradley is on the other side of 30 at this stage of his career. He's also shown that he is more of a brawler than he once was, and I don't know if that's been a conscious decision, or he's getting longer in the tooth.

I like Vargas, and think he's shown heart, and good talent both natural and learned. What I'm not sure about in this fight is going with Erik Morales as a trainer. If Morales is smart, he won't make him fight like he did. Morales is a legend, and maybe he has one way of doing things, I'm not sure but I think Vargas best shot is to use his speed, and length.

Vargas has a great jab, for me that's the key for him in this fight. Bradley is going to look to work his way in, and get dirty like he always does. Vargas needs to use that length and speed and try and catch Bradley at distance. I don't think he will have much issues with Bradley in terms of strength, it will be more his tactics on the inside and his experience.

I'm picking Vargas in a close decision win.

He got caught with a good shot. kind of like how Maidana had Floyd wobbly legged, it happens, it's boxing. Yeah, it took Vargas a solid 35:50 to land a shot, he was totally going to land another one in the next 7 seconds, especially when Bradley had him in a clinch.

You're the worst, glad to be able to point that out to you
I thought Vargas had moments throughout the fight. Won a couple early rounds. Landed some big shots at the end of the 5th round I think. It wasn't like Bradley completely dominated him and then he gets rocked and almost KOed by a guy with 9 stoppages.

I keep willing Tim Bradley to impress me and he keeps letting me down

Vargas is ***ing terrible yet he had Bradley stumbling round the ring, ready to go and the referee jumps in to stop the fight. That isn't luck?

And once again, Bradley fails to impress even when its basically a showcase fight. The guy is so average yet people rate him in the upper echelons of the P4P ratings. That's not overrated?

I really thought Bradley would put on a complete domination and I'd be able to see a little of what you guys see in this guy. But he didn't, he almost gets KOed by a guy with 9 stoppages
Agree on him being an average fighter and very overrated. Not so sure he was anywhere near being stopped with that sort of time left though, but you can never tell.

Worst part is we'll probably get to see a rematch. Ugh.

Shook of what? A guy who got rocked to his boots by Jessie "9 KOs" Vargas and saved by his handpicked ref.

He put everything he had into that. Kells delicate whiskers would have flown off if that landed on him. Pac never hurt him so let's not act like he doesn't have a chin now

A Brit talking about hand picked ref lol. Good one

Was apparently the same ref who didn't call a KD when he started doing backflips against Provodnikov.

That's the point dummy, you're always complaining about British refs or Britsh stoppages and all that. Bradley got saved with 10 seconds left.

Bradley is average, I've said it all long. Would absolutely love that fight for Brook next.
