I just had to take a moment to congratulate most of the posters here for behaving like respectful, knowledgeable sports fans for once.

Myself, I feel Cotto has everything to convincingly outbox, and possibly hurt/ko Canelo.

Canelo, of course, packs a punch, and Cotto hasn't had his chin checked in a while. Last puncher he fought was Mayorga, as I recall. To me, Cotto's chin has always been average at best, and now he's fighting bigger guys (who have yet to land cleanly on him), that's why even though I feel Cotto could dominate with relative ease, I can't rule out Canelo dropping Cotto several times and stopping him.

It's gonna be fun, that's for sure.

Cotto will win. He has the better jab, footwork and foot speed. Canelo predictions are made based on something he has never been a pressure fighter. Canelo is a counter puncher and that will hurt him against Cotto. Cotto jab will land and allow him to get his shots off and stop canelo from getting started. And when Cotto eases up on the jab he will be able to outmaneuver canelo with his superior foot speed. Canelo definitely has the power to land a fight changing shot and win based on that shot or build momentum off a big shot. Canelo has the size advantage but he doesn't have the temperament or the stamina to take advantage of that.

Usually only in Internet forums do you here ****** biased predictions and statements. Real honest boxing heads keep it 100.and down the middle. I personally thi k it's 50/50 only because Cotto has been looking great recently. It's a tough one for me to predict. I ll be rooting for Cotto though.

Fair enough, you have it 50/50. I think I favor Canelo a little bit more but it's going to be a hell of a fight, and anything can happen, just want a classic in the making like Mexico vs Puerto rico always put on. As for me ill be rooting for Canelo, may the best man win!!
