Arum is a smart man. He is just trying to position himself to get options on Golovkin fights. He knows damn well Ramirez isn't ready for GGG and would get destroyed.

GGG fans: "no its not. GGG can't get NOBODY TO FIGHT HIM"

GGG's team then proceeds to use the high risk/low reward scenario against some fighters.

It's the hypocrisy that gets me. The fanboys are unwilling to acknowledge it.

I am a fan of Golovkin but if he can't get good fights at 160 he really should move up.

He's too scared. If he moves up, he'll have to fight Ward. He'd rather be branded a coward and hide out in boxing's worst division, middleweight, than risk getting skull****ed by Ward.

Ward doesnt wanna fight him man. If he did, he wouldnt have said no to Hbo, and he would have produced an offer by now
