Did you not read the quote from Povtekin's promoter after the Perez fight that they might want to take another fight before Wilder?

Of course he's avoiding it's not like Wilder isn't allowed to fight Povetkin before he's forced to do so.

        I am PULLING for D. Wilder !!

        But

He is showing some weaknesses at this new level.

He looks weak in his body, like he would wilt under a big body shot.

He gives me the impression that a big shot to the chin would put him down for good.

Povetkin or Klits might KO the Alabama MULE !

I hope not , but the RUSSIANS ARE COMING !!!!!

Not just in the Heavyweights, hahaha look at it , from Lomencheco, GGG, Kovalev, Beterbiev , its ON for shore !!!!!!!!

        CHICKEN CHASERS DELUXE !!!!!

Why wouldn't they? Unless they wanted to be sidelined for the remainder of the year.

I don't see why both shouldn't stay active. Makes complete sense.

Just dont think Wilders run at the HW champ is gonna continue much longer. He is gonna pull the business card and fight c class fighters. Thats why he wont wait. He is a C+ fighter at best an A class fighter will take his belt and he will wither away

True. One fight a piece should be good enough, but it seems like they're more than willing to extend it, or atleast that's how the article reads.

I believe that it is Haymon himself that is stalling the Povetkin fight. Because he needs more time to actually create his new PBC Championship belts. He also needs time to get his PBC rankings in order so he can attempt to eliminate any real threat to his PBC Champs. The number one HW contender would be...possibly Briggs? I bet that Haymon must of had a cow when Wilder had the WBC belt tattooed on his leg. I am sure that Haymon already has a tattoo artist designing a tattoo of one his new PBC belts to cover it up.
