But Of course you will have idiots that will say it wouldn't matter if it didn't matter than why make the fight at 152 ?

you saw the fight with your own eyes.

canelo wasn't weight drained he was flat footed and easy too hit.

just as he was against lara, so stop it bro.

it is possible too talk boxing without mentioning Floyd mayweather jr.

    you do know that right?

you can tell when a fighter is weight drained, he can barely muster up enough energy too throw a punch.

    de la hoya vs pacquiao
    dawson vs ward

these are examples of what weight drained fighters look like.

canelo was far from the zombie's that were Oscar and dawson and you know that

Is that why Canelo said a rematch with Floyd will be at no catch weights but I can see why a guy with an IQ of 60 wouldn't understand

Catch weights are gay! Especially if a boxer uses it to have an advantage.

But not at 152. He is fighting non title fights at contracted weights. Big difference.

funny cotto said no to manny at 150, but initially demanded his rematch with margarito at 150 too

and manny had never fought above 150.

The guy being brought down in weight can win if he knows his own body and doesn't try and make too low of weight. I think Porter will still beat Broner even at 3 pounds below the weight he usually fights at. Hopkins was made to come down to 158 from his usual 160 to fight De La Hoya. He came in even lighter at 156 and still won by KO. Paul Williams would not fight Martinez for Martinez's middleweight title unless Martinez agreed to come in at 157 or less. Martinez made weight and KOed Williams in round one. There are lots of examples of fighters being made to come in below their regular fighting weight and winning just as there are times when coming below their regular weight just ruins them as in Ward vs Dawson.
