He needs to stop sounding so selfless because it is obviously a front. I mean he is a complete diva and we have known this for years. His way or the highway. He is SOG, you are not. He is all time great, you are just lucky to get a chance to fight him. I'd respect him more if he was more focused on his craft and legacy for his own satisfaction. I mean he has the potential to jump back in the lime light and land any fight he wants. Ali had to work to land opponents all through his career, Hagler had to do it, Toney had to do it, everyone has to do it. Nobody just shows up to a semi-retired no fanbase having blowhard looking to be lucky enough to land a fight. To put it simply, fighters have been looking past Ward for a while now and he just doesn't know it yet

It's an interview. Holy shyt you haters post some ****** things. Do you think the interviewee chooses the questions?Comment

well the courts had the "full story" and every single time Ward went to court he LOST.Apparently you didn't read the COMPLETE article clown. Like the rest of us, you were on the OUTSIDE looking in and as Ward stated in the article the rest of us did not have the FULL STORY!!! He sought counsel and made an educated decision to take the path that he took.
At the end of the day, it's his career, not yours or mine. He is privy to details that you and any other presumptuous prick will not have access to. Neither you or me knew the particulars of his legal issues with Goossen but he and his camp were comfortable with their decisions even though Ward had to suffer a layoff as a result.
Wow, reading really is a lost art...

It goes deeper. He was doing right by a friend of his, putting aside money and career for principle. Few would have the integrity to do the same. Not that you're interested in the facts.Comment

I'd be having thoughts of retirement too if GGG just ripped me a new ******* in an interview.
lol but I'll be the first to admit that I don't know much about the his legal situation or whatever other circumstances were involved in his layoff. As big a GGG-stan as I am, I recognize that Ward is an incredible fighter and hope to see more of him whether it's against GGG or Kovalev or whoever.Comment

I'm no legal expert, nor do I care to be at this late stage of my life, but I just hope the guy can get back into the groove, go with LHW probably, and prove to us his worth. The name means nothing to me at this point. Can he befuddle Kov? GGG? ******man? Enough with the blabbering. Let's get with it. Get your win vs the can, then DO SOMETHING.Comment
