If he wants to make decent money in the future, he'll have to leave Oakland and take the risk of fighting without a home referee who will permit him to use illegal tactics (deliberate head butts, clamping his opponents' arms, hitting off the break, etc). He may not always be able to fight at the weight he's most comfortable at - other fighters have moved up or down a few pounds from their ideal weight, he may need to as well.

He can't always get his own way in the future, because he's not a draw.

-watching porter maul broner in hd instead of of ward hugging live = priceless

I for one will be there live. Paid 90 a ticket for me and wifey. Not often u get to see a great boxer live for only 90 bux local no vegAs. Sure gas food etc add up. I dontgive**** doe. I'm not broke. Much rather see ward than broner.

Funny how it's always those who don't draw well and their fans who say shit like that. GGG and Cotto and Canelo don't have problems filling up a venue and don't have to give away any tickets for free either.
